At the World Mountain Running Championships in Porte di Legno, Italy, 2010 Olympian Morgan Arritola of Ketchum, Idaho paced the U.S. Women’s team to the team championship. Arritola finished in the bronze medal position with a time of 47 minutes, 26 seconds over the 8.8 kilometers course that featured 760 meters of elevation gain.

Last winter Anne Kyllönen made her breaktrought to the top skiers of the world and now she is impatient to start new racing season. The finnish skiing-ace has defeated early summers injuries and she is aiming towards winters upcoming challenges.

During the last few years the intent ja powerfull Krista Lähteenmäki has rosen to the hall of fame of top skiers. Lähteenmäki`s summer training has gone better than well and she is more than ready to train even harder. During last few weeks summer Olympics has affected a lot her daily routines.

It was during a kick on rollers Wednesday afternoon that the youngster Karstein Johaug destroyed he's right skiing boot. The accident happened in the winding roller track on Natrudstilen, Sjusjøen.

Ville Nousiainen has been one of the skiers who had kept up finnish skiing reputation for a long time. Las year went down the drain when Ville got sick during season. Mycoplasma threw him from ski track straight to the stand. Skierpost had a little chat with this finnish fighter.

Super powered Markus "Makkan" Ottosson has in the recent seasons been a part of Sweden's priority team, Team 2015. However, next season “Makkan” is going to be teammate with Stanislav Rezac, Martin Koukal, Martin Bajicak, among others in the marathon team, Skinfit Racing Team. Skierpost talked to the sympathetic Swede who got seven World Cup starts representing Sweden.
